About these terms

These terms apply to www.aligned-tech.com (the “Website”) and to chat-core.com, our WhatsApp customer messaging platform (the “Service”), both operated by Aligned Tech (“Aligned Tech”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website or the Service, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use either.

Using the Website

The Website is provided for general information only, on an “as is” basis. You must not misuse it, scrape or copy its content in bulk by automated means, or attempt to break or get around its security.

The chat-core.com Service

Businesses use the Service, under their agreement with us, to receive and reply to WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.

If you are a business customer

You must:

• follow the WhatsApp Business Terms, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta’s Commerce Policy;
• only message people who have opted in to hear from you;
• use approved message templates when contacting someone outside WhatsApp’s 24-hour customer service window;
• not send spam or unlawful content; and
• keep your agents’ accounts and login details secure.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts its WhatsApp number at risk.

If you are messaging a business through chat-core

Your conversation is with that business, not with Aligned Tech. WhatsApp’s own terms also apply to your use of WhatsApp. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

The Service depends on Meta and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes or restrictions, or for how they affect the Service.

Intellectual property

The content and software of the Website and the Service belong to Aligned Tech or its licensors. Business customers keep ownership of their own content, including the messages they send and receive through the Service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Website and the Service are provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep them reliable, but we do not guarantee that they will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, Aligned Tech is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Website or the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Website or the Service if you breach these terms. Business customers can stop using the Service at any time. Their data is then handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Beirut or Baabda, Lebanon.
